We went to James' 12 month appointment at Dr. Smith's office today. She said he is a beautiful, healthy, active toddler! I cannot believe he is not a baby anymore. Dr. Smith also said he is "verbally advanced" for his age and could not believe all of the fruits and veggies that he eats. He is a wonderful eater! Unfortunately JP had to get four shots (vaccines) but was such a trooper. It breaks my heart every time but I know they are necessary. He cried for a few seconds then stopped as soon as I was able to pick him up. He even smiled and waved "bye bye" to the nurses when they left the room after giving him the shots.
