37 weeks...James is full term!

We had a doctor's appointment on Monday the 6th. Dr. Matthews said everything looks good, baby is still in position, but no news to report yet! We will go back on Monday the 13th and I will update if there are any changes. Here is what babycenter.com says about how James is developing at 37 weeks:

How your baby's growing: Congratulations — your baby is full term! This means that if your baby arrives now, his lungs should be fully mature and ready to adjust to life outside the womb, even though your due date is still three weeks away.Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. But don't be surprised if your baby's hair isn't the same color as yours. Dark-haired couples are sometimes thrown for a loop when their children come out as blonds or redheads, and fair-haired couples have been surprised by Elvis look-alikes. And then, of course, some babies sport only peach fuzz.

From the 4D ultrasound we know that James does have a full head of hair! I only assume it will be dark brown but you never know. I guess we will find out soon! Sean's mom is coming in town to visit this weekend and will be picking up Simon on the way. We will miss Ellie but unfortunately she has to stay home since she has been sick.

We don't expect anything to happen in the next few days but of course we will be calling/texting/emailing if there is any BIG news. Have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter!
